Biography 

Wickham Flannagan earned his BA in Film Studies and Media Arts at University of South Carolina, and his MFA within the Mass Communications and Media Arts college at Southern Illinois University. After graduation, he moved to Ankara, Türkiye to continue his research and teach within the Communication and Design department at Bilkent University. Wickham has worked on several film productions that have been accepted into juried film festivals including the Palace International Film Festival. His recent video essays have been published through institutions such as Tecmerin, 16:9 Film Journal, and celebrated on the British Film Institute’s top video essays list of 2022. Wickham’s future projects continue to explore the intersections between film theory and film production.
