Biography
Julide Aksiyote Gorur has been a full-time member of the department since 2002. Before joining the department she worked in commercial film production and exhibited internationally. She holds an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media, a BFA in Graphic Design, and a diploma in Cultural Heritage. She curates and coordinates student exhibitions and conducts art projects. She is currently working on a project that focuses on comparative art and design education in the Modern Era.
Research Interests: Photography and Modernism, Constrained Writing and its Visual Translations as a Tool for Teaching Basic Design, Design Thinking, and Cultural Heritage.
