About Our Festival

The PASO Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing student filmmakers and recent graduates worldwide, offering them a platform to present their creative works in fiction, documentary, and animation.

Films produced by students studying at universities in our country do not find sufficient screening opportunities. Therefore, neither cinema artists nor cinema audiences can fully benefit from these films. However, student films, each of which is the result of meticulous work, are works that hold the potential to contribute to the development of the art of cinema.

The Bilkent University Student Film Festival aims to reveal this potential by providing a platform where student films can reach both university students, as well as cinema audiences and artists. At the same time, it aims to create an environment for discussions about student films.
